PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer
This course will take you from an OWSI to a Speciality Instructor or even a MSDT.
With a number of highly skilled staff instructors and a course director with vast amounts of knowledge in many different skill areas, each package can be tailor-made to the individual diver and will give you the chance to take your skills and teaching opportunities to the next level.
WHO is up for adventure?
Any PADI Instructors who have already certified a minimum of 25 PADI Divers can become a Master Scuba Diver Trainer.
You’ll need to earn at least 5 PADI Speciality Instructor ratings too, but these can be done on the MSDT preparation course.
WHAT is all the fuss about?
One of the best parts of this course is that it is presents you with the opportunity to dive at Sipadan.
The 3 day program grants you a Sipadan permit whilst if you opt to stay on the course for 5 or more days you’ll get 2 permits.
You are unlimited in your diving opportunities so feel free to dive as often as you would like.
As part of the course’s deep instructor rating you’ll dive down to 40 metres for a look at large sharks such as hammerheads.
This area of Malaysia boasts some of world’s best macro life so it’s an excellent choice for budding underwater photographers and videographers with Kapalai, Mabul and reefs nearby.

WHERE will it take me?
The more specialities you are interested in and qualify in, the greater diversity you’ll have when teaching, increasing your earning potential and expanding your horizons.
It’s also the next step up in the professional diver ladder, and the starting point to becoming an IDC Staff Instructor, EFR Instructor or TecRec Instructor.
WHEN will I be ready?
The Master Diver Trainer preparation course takes at least 3 days during which you will gain at least 5 speciality instructor ratings. If you decide to expand your knowledge past the minimums, there are 4 or 5 day instructor ratings packages that offer you the chance to get up to 15 instructor ratings.
