Ever wanted to zoom around underwater like James Bond? If you answered yes, this course is for you.

Essentially an underwater scooter, a Dive Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) is a fun new way to dive.

WHAT is all the fuss about?

Although it may be a relatively new and somewhat faddish concept, diver propulsion vehicles are actually very useful for exploring unreachable reefs in shorter time periods.

It also takes the strain away from diving.

WHAT will I learn?

For those with a technical interest, this course has plenty to satisfy your thirst for technical knowledge.

You’ll learn how to fix and maintain your DPV, how to plan your ascents, descents and overall dives using a DPV and how to use a DPV safely so as not to harm the fragile marine environment around you, especially the corals.

WHERE will it take me?

If you’ve never tried a DPV before, Mabul is the perfect place to try.

You’ll be able to zip around the reef with minimal effort and make the most out of your time diving in these fantastic locations.

WHY should I be excited?

Add something new to your diving experience – learn to drive a DPV like a pro!

HOW do I do it?

Driving the DPV is fairly simple as it’s essentially just an underwater scooter, but you’ll be given full instructions on how to navigate, steer and stop.

During the course you’ll be given top tips on how to drive the DPV safely without harming your surroundings as well as how to handle any problems that may occur when underwater.
